Therapy services are conducted by licensed professionals in the patient's home to address the patient's interaction directly with their living environment, allowing them to address specific functional needs such as potential small bathrooms, narrow steps, difficult passageways. etc. These services are provided either directly by agency staff or trusted contracted associates.
Description of therapy services provided below.​

Physical Therapy
​
The focus of Physical Therapy is to address function in the home through therapeutic exercise, balance activities, bed mobility training, transfer training and walking.
The main job of the Physical Therapist is to ensure the patient has sufficient strength, endurance and balance to function within and outside of the home. The Physical Therapist also addresses pain through use of therapeutic modalities, therapeutic exercise and physical positioning techniques.



Occupational Therapy

The focus of Occupational Therapy is to address the Activities of Daily Living through therapeutic exercise and therapeutic activities.
The main job of the Occupation Therapist is to ensure the patient is as independent as possible in the skills of bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, meal preparation and specialized transfers.

The Occupational Therapist will make recommendations on any home modifications which may be necessary to increase independence.
They also use their expertise in the measurement, application and use of various splinting devices which also are designed to increase functional independence and/or address joint range of motion.

Speech / Language Pathology
The focus of Speech / Language Pathology is to address the patient’s delivery of the spoken word, the patient’s understanding of the spoken word and the patient’s ability to hear. The loss of the ability to communicate can be exceptionally frustrating for the patient who has suffered a stroke or head injury.

Dysphagia Therapy
The focus of Dysphagia Therapy is to address the patient’s ability to swallow effectively preventing liquids and/or food from entering the lungs. Once the patient is diagnosed with dysphagia, the Speech Pathologist assesses the patient’s dietary needs, makes adjustments to the actual food consistency needed for effective and safe swallowing and trains the patient in proper swallowing techniques.
